About VKA

This is the story of the company name - VKA Business Development.

There are three vital ingredients in the formula for success in business life, Vision, Knowledge and Action.

Vision

Vision is having a clear understanding of where you and your business are going (and is it the same destination?). Knowing WHY you are headed that way, what the consequences are of getting there and what happens if you don’t make it. A powerful vision acts as a magnet providing traction to keep the show on the road, making sure that you, your team and the business maintain momentum, even when the going gets tough.

A major part of VKA’s job is developing the clients’ vision, using many different tools, including dream building, goal setting, visualisation, affirmations, incantations and NLP (Neurolinguistic Programming)

Knowledge

The second ingredient is Knowledge. This could be as simple as knowing what to do in order to fulfil an ambition. For example, someone who wants to be a doctor needs to know the required educational standards. At the other end of the scale, consider the volume of knowledge you need to be a doctor, or a politician, property investor, business owner. Winners in all these fields read constantly, listen to podcasts and development CDs. They increase their knowledge daily, and while they understand that they do not know everything, they usually know a man (or woman) who does. Top entrepreneurs include specialists in their “Dream team”, and this is another role of the VKA mentor, who is often a walking encyclopaedia of business and personal development ideas, as well as a tireless networker.

Action

The last ingredient is Action. Put simply, doing something about it. Your VKA mentor will keep you accountable to taking the actions you have committed to, ever watchful for procrastination and excuses. This should be done both short term and strategically. For example, every evening you spend a few minutes deciding what you will do tomorrow, and make a list to tick off during the day. Every Friday, you set your goals for the following week and so forth.
Which comes first and which is most important? You vision could be seen to guide your acquisition of knowledge, and to drive your activity. However, it is clear that all three are vital and that they interact in a productive way. Vision and Knowledge without Action are but daydreaming, Action and Knowledge without Vision become drudgery, without Knowledge, Action taken upon Vision with insufficient knowledge may have catastrophic consequences.

VKA work with clients in the sweet spot where Vision, Knowledge and Action intersect to achieve outstanding success.
